Liebherr Nenzing acquires three Haulotte units from Rothlehner Austria

Three renowned partners, one shared goal: safe aerial access technology.

Liebherr-Werk Nenzing GmbH has taken delivery of three Haulotte units from Rothlehner Arbeitsbühnen GmbH: a Sigma 16 Pro, an HA26 RTJ Pro, and an HT43 RTJ Pro.

The Nenzing plant in Vorarlberg is one of the region’s most significant industrial sites. Since 1976, Liebherr has developed and manufactured crawler cranes, duty-cycle crawler cranes, and piling and drilling rigs there for construction sites worldwide; the facility employs approximately 1,900 people. Maintaining a plant of this scale places high demands on aerial access equipment—requiring high availability, safety, and a broad range of working heights and reaches. Beyond the machines themselves, a key deciding factor was the on-site service support provided by Rothlehner Austria.

The Sigma 16 Pro electric articulating boom lift is an all-rounder for a wide variety of tasks in and around the production halls, offering a working height of 15.70 m, an outreach of 8.05 m, and a platform capacity of 230 kg across its entire working envelope. Its articulating 3D jib and rotating platform allow for precise positioning, even behind protrusions or structural elements—all while operating quietly and with zero emissions.

For outdoor applications, the fleet is supplemented by the HA26 RTJ Pro, which features a working height of 26.40 m and an outreach of 17.50 m. It is powered by a Kubota diesel engine and equipped with four-wheel drive and four-wheel steering. The 133° articulating jib and the 2.44 m wide work platform ensure excellent accessibility, even in complex or confined spaces. With a platform capacity of up to 350 kg, the unit is ideally equipped for demanding maintenance and repair tasks.

The flagship of this trio is the HT43 RTJ Pro; with a working height of 42.20 m, a horizontal outreach of 20.20 m, and a maximum platform capacity of 450 kg, it is the perfect choice when maximum height is required. Its powerful diesel engine, combined with four-wheel drive, four-wheel steering, and an oscillating axle, allows it to navigate gradients of up to 40% and operate effectively on uneven terrain. The ability to perform up to four simultaneous, proportionally controlled movements—complemented by a 160° articulating jib and a 180° rotating platform—ensures that the work area can be reached quickly and with pinpoint precision.

As the general importer and a Platinum Partner for Haulotte in Austria, Rothlehner is the expert contact for safe, reliable, and high-performance aerial work platforms—offering everything from versatile machines for general use to specialized solutions for the most demanding high-altitude tasks.

By choosing these three Haulotte units, the Liebherr plant in Nenzing has opted for modern, high-performance, and highly versatile aerial access technology.

The equipment was handed over by Timotheus Schneider of Rothlehner Sales Austria.

We thank them for their trust and wish the team at Liebherr Nenzing safe and successful operations with their new equipment.
