Roofing company receives GSR B220PXE

The sheet metal and roofing company Nietner from Issigau, near Hof in Upper Franconia, recently took delivery of a GSR B220PXE.
Reinhard Nietner’s master craftsman’s company was founded in 2004 and has now grown into one of the largest roofing companies in the Hof area with a team of 8 people. In addition to competent advice, the services include a large number of roof-related services; all from a single source.

It has long been considered to purchase a separate working platform for working at height. The investment was made this year and the decision was made to go for a GSR B220PXE articulated telescopic platform.
The B220PXE offers 21.50m working height, max. 250kg basket load and max. 11.20m lateral reach with 120kg in the basket. Electrohydraulic proportional control with variable stabilisers at the front and vertical outriggers at the rear. The Nietner company has opted for an equipment package with, among other things, automatic levelling, side walls and traffic cone holders.

The B220PXE Comfort has a uniquely flat basket linkage. With the absolutely level basket underside and the basket rotation range of 180°, the PXE is predestined for work on the roof. The up and over function of the double joint, which is typical for articulated telescopic work platforms, and the large lateral reach of 11.20 m with a basket load of 120 kg make many applications possible in the first place.
