The main features of this articulated telescopic work platform are compact dimensions and the “up and over” function for overcoming obstacles. Various drive concepts with batteries, mains or combustion engines allow for indoor and outdoor use.

The unrestricted load capacity of the platform is 230kg. The machine has a double joint, on the telescopic boom of which a 130° angled jib is mounted. (The jib of the Pro model can also be swiveled horizontally by 110 degrees.)
Together with the basket that can be rotated by 180°, the Sigma 16 can also reach difficult-to-access areas.

The GSR B220PXE is next to the Comfort X version (extendable H-stabilisers at the front) also available in the compact version described here (with vehicle-wide stabilisers with vertical stabilisers at the rear and front).

The device is – as the name suggests – extremely compact and almost a meter shorter than the Mercedes. These advantages are particularly evident in cramped inner-city streets. Because the engine is located further back, the B220PX Isuzu has the opportunity to use its entire lateral reach beyond the driver’s cab compared to the Mercedes. Thanks to the better weight distribution, this model can achieve the same performance data with vehicle-wide stabilisers as the Mercedes with wide outriggers.

The B220PXE body has an articulation without a substructure under the work basket. This makes it particularly suitable for applications where obstacles have to be approached closely and precisely from above, e.g. on roofs.

An electro-hydraulic proportional control, a 180° rotating basket, shims, etc. are standard.

The GSR B220PXE Comfort X with variable support can be mounted on a Mercedes Sprinter or Iveco Daily. Thanks to the basket linkage without a substructure, it is particularly suitable for applications where obstacles have to be reached at close range and precisely from above – ideal, for example. B. for work on roofs.

With a working height of 21.50 m, a maximum basket load of 250 kg and a lateral reach of up to 11.20 m with a basket load of 120 kg, the B220PXE offers high performance and flexibility. The electro-hydraulic proportional control ensures precise control, while the H-supports at the front and vertical supports at the rear ensure stable support. An automatic support function is available as an option.

B220PXE on Isuzu chassis – the compact alternative
The B220PXE is also available on an Isuzu chassis with Compact outriggers. This variant has a vehicle-wide support with vertical supports at the front and rear.

With a design almost one meter shorter than the Mercedes version, the Isuzu model offers a particularly compact solution. Thanks to the engine located further back, the B240PX Isuzu can also use its entire lateral reach beyond the driver’s cab. In addition, the optimized weight distribution enables this model to achieve the same performance values ​​with vehicle-wide support as the Mercedes with wide support.
