1500 GSR truck mounted aerial platforms sold

1,500th GSR truck-mounted work platform sold via Rothlehner, 9,000 sold worldwide by GSR

In July we received the 1,500th order for a new GSR aerial work platform. In this case it is a B220TJ Compact on a Mercedes Atego all-wheel drive for municipal use. Delivery will take place next year.

With our partner GSR we offer a complete range of truck products. Rothlehner has been selling the devices from the northern Italian manufacturer in Germany and other European markets for around 20 years. On the one hand, the 3.5 to vehicles form the basis for most rental fleets; the special vehicles with a total weight of 5 tons, 7.5 tons or 18 tons are sold, for example, by rental companies, in industry, in the municipal sector and in landscaping.

Decisive are the many possible combinations with different, partly all-terrain carrier vehicles and the possibility of realizing individual customer requests and special solutions.

The municipal sector was also the target group for the first GSR aerial work platform. In 1980, the first 14 m articulated work platforms went to a state energy supplier, after which other customer groups such as end users and rental companies were developed.

By the way, at the BAUMA in October 2022 there will be the serial number 9,000,  i.e. the 9,000th device that GSR has ever produced. And a novelty at 3.5 t.
