For many years, Dansk Kirkekalk A/S has specialized in the restoration and preservation of historic churches and listed buildings. This includes work on facades, church towers, and delicate surfaces, where safe and precise access to heights is essential.

Ing. Christian Tiedl from Burgenland is a publicly appointed and court-certified expert. He specializes in the inspection of work equipment, elevators, and lifting systems, as well as in consulting and planning in the field of mechanical and plant engineering. To better cover work at height, Ing. Christian Tiedl has now acquired his own aerial work platform. He chose a Europelift TM15TJi from Rothlehner. The machine will be used both for his own projects and offered for rental.

Heimes Motorentechnik, based in Pittenhart near Traunstein, specializes in spare parts and components for gas engines used in biogas and natural gas applications. The company’s product range includes OEM-quality engine parts designed to minimize downtime and ensure reliable operation of biogas plants.

Recently, the company decided to invest in its own electric self-propelled lift with a 16 m working height.

ESR Elektrotechnik GmbH , based in Mellach near Graz, will rely on an Easylift R180 tracked aerial work platform from Rothlehner for future work at height. The specialist company led by founder and managing director Robert Rothschedl and his team focuses on photovoltaics as well as building and security technology. To efficiently handle the diverse requirements of its projects, the platform will be used for installation and maintenance work.

With the R180, the company has a powerful, compact solution that is ideal for work in confined spaces. We were also able to supply the matching transport trailer. The unit offers a maximum working height of 17.60 m, a lateral outreach of 8.5 m at 120 kg, and a maximum basket load of 200 kg. As standard, this model features a hybrid drive combining 230 V mains power and a petrol engine. Emission-free indoor use is therefore just as possible as outdoor applications. The 2,300 kg weight is distributed gently over the wide tracked undercarriage. With the adjustable undercarriage, the width can be reduced to 0.89 m. Friedrich Rohwedder GmbH from Berlin has expanded its fleet with a DENKA•LIFT DK18 trailer-mounted aerial work platform. The company, which is proudly celebrating its 100th anniversary this year, is investing in the long-standing experience and quality of the DENKA•LIFT brand to further grow its rental offering.

The DENKA•LIFT DK18 offers a working height of 18 m and a lateral outreach of 11.30 m, making it an ideal solution for a wide range of urban and job site applications. With a platform capacity of 200 kg, the lift enables safe and efficient work at height.

The powerful hydraulic maneuvering drive comes as standard and makes it easy to quickly reposition the aerial work platform on site. Thanks to the sensitive proportional controls and the rotating work basket, even challenging tasks can be completed safely and quickly, which is a major advantage for flexible use in different environments.

Bauhof Lübbenau expands with the GSR B180T on Mercedes-Benz

B180T goes to Brandenburg

The Bauhof Lübbenau has expanded its fleet with a GSR B180T truck-mounted platform on a Mercedes-Benz carrier vehicle. The company had previously operated a rental unit from us and has now opted to purchase the B180T based on the positive experience.

The GSR B180T offers a working height of 18 m and a lateral outreach of 11 m, making it ideal for a wide range of municipal tasks. With a platform capacity of 250 kg, it is well suited for performing work at various heights safely and efficiently. Another advantage is its weight of only around 3,500 kg, which means it can be driven with a Class B driving licence. This is a practical solution for the depot team.

Since the Lübbenau municipal depot had already gained experience operating a GSR aerial platform through the rental unit, the handover focused in particular on explaining the emergency controls, which further facilitated the safe operation of the new platform.

Metallmanufaktur GE opts for the Haulotte HA16E Pro with Range Extender

HA16E Pro goes to Upper Bavaria

Metallmanufaktur GE has expanded its fleet with a Haulotte HA16E Pro with Range Extender. The decision was made due to the impressive platform capacity of 300 kg and the versatility of the machine, which can be operated electrically indoors and with diesel outdoors.

The Haulotte HA16E Pro offers a working height of 16 m and a lateral outreach of 7.94 m. With a platform capacity of 300 kg, it enables the safe transport of personnel and equipment, making it ideal for a wide range of tasks. A standout feature is the range extender, which extends operating time in diesel mode. This allows uninterrupted use on outdoor jobs without the need for frequent recharging, which is especially beneficial for longer shifts outdoors.

Aerial platform rental company Helge Kühl expands its GSR fleet

B240PX on Isuzu broadens the rental lineup

The aerial platform rental company Helge Kühl from Schleswig-Holstein has increased its fleet with another truck-mounted platform. The team led by Managing Director Helge Kühl offers a wide range of aerial platforms and forklifts in Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg.

The recently delivered GSR B240PX Compact on an Isuzu chassis is already the third GSR to make its way to Elmshorn. The new B240PX offers a working height of 23.70 m, a lateral outreach of 12.30 m, and a platform capacity of 250 kg. Compared to the B240PX on a Mercedes chassis, the Isuzu is around one meter shorter and 20 cm narrower. This agility proves especially useful on narrow inner-city streets. The unit can also achieve its full lateral outreach over the cab. As an option, the delivered machine features an additional 230 V drive that enables quiet and emission-free operation.

Elektro Nimtz receives GSR B200T

Elektro Nimtz, based in Märkische Heide, offers, among other services, all types of electrical installations, building technology, and photovoltaic systems. For installation and maintenance work at height, the company has long relied on aerial work platforms. In 2023, Rothlehner already delivered a Haulotte Star 10 for indoor work.

Recently, Nimtz expanded its fleet with a GSR B200T truck-mounted aerial work platform on a Mercedes Sprinter chassis. With the new truck-mounted platform, the company intends to further expand its energy services business.

21 m trailer-mounted aerial platform goes to Sachsen-Anhalt

Elektro Berger has expanded its fleet with the Europelift TM21GTi trailer-mounted aerial work platform to efficiently handle the diverse requirements of its projects. The platform is already being used successfully for the installation and maintenance of photovoltaic systems as well as for work on street lighting. With a working height of up to 21 m and a lateral outreach of up to 11 m, the TM21GTi offers ideal conditions for these tasks.

The unit combines a compact width of 1.79 m and a weight of 2,620 kg, which makes it easy to transport and flexible to deploy. With a platform capacity of up to 220 kg, the TM21GTi reliably meets requirements even on demanding projects. The TM21GTi comes as standard with automatic outrigger setup, a home function, and a wired remote control for ground drive.

Elektro Söhnel, based in 04741 Roßwein, has expanded its fleet with a GSR E140P truck-mounted aerial work platform. Managing Director Rico Söhnel and his team of 280 employees provide electrical services across regions, including switchgear, temporary site power, photovoltaic systems, and street lighting. For work at height, the company has long relied on access platforms. A DENKA•LIFT trailer platform, for example, is part of the fleet. Recently, an older truck-mounted platform was replaced by the new GSR E140P.

The GSR E140P offers a working height of 13.25 m and a lateral outreach of 6.05 m. Thanks to its compact design, the unit remains flexible in use both in urban environments and on confined job sites. With a capacity of 250 kg, the platform enables the safe transport of personnel and tools.

GaLaBau Röhricht Receives a Truck-Mounted Platform

GSR B240PX for Landscaping Company Röhricht

After 33 years of daily use, Garten- und Landschaftsbau Röhricht is replacing its proven work platform—a Herkules Lift mounted on a GDR all-wheel-drive W60 truck. This unique, battery-powered combination was likely one of a kind in Germany and proved its reliability over decades. The Herkules Lift was a true workhorse that mastered the company’s demanding tasks with ease.

To continue relying on familiar and proven technology, company owner Paul Röhricht has chosen a GSR B240PX truck-mounted platform on a Mercedes Sprinter. The machine was recently delivered to Gosen-Neu Zittau, southeast of Berlin.

The new platform offers a working height of 23.70 m and a lateral outreach of 12.30 m, enabling work even in hard-to-reach areas. With a compact transport width of 2.20 m, it remains highly maneuverable on tight job sites. In addition, the GSR B240PX provides a 250 kg platform capacity, making it easier to handle tools and materials.

Easy Lift R180 for Indoor and Outdoor Work

The Deggendorf Climbing Center offers indoor and outdoor climbing and bouldering walls—providing a total of 2,600 m² of climbing surface with over 300 routes for enthusiasts.

To set routes on walls up to 15.5 m high, as well as for other installation and maintenance tasks, the center has invested in its own access platform. The choice fell on an EasyLift R180 tracked platform with a max. working height of 17.60 m, lateral outreach of 8.5 m at 120 kg, and a maximum basket load of 200 kg.

With a total weight of 2,330 kg, the machine is towable and, thanks to its compact dimensions (L: 4.78 m • W: 0.89 m • H: 2.01 m), fits through most doors and access routes. The crawler undercarriage distributes weight gently across the ground—made even better with track mats. The outrigger footprint is 3.66 × 3.66 m. As standard, the R180 comes with 230 V mains power and a Honda engine; it can be used both off-road and emission-free indoors. (Diesel or lithium battery are available as options.) Outriggers deploy automatically via the wired remote control.

22 m Articulated-Telescopic Truck Mount Heads to East Frisia

The partnership between Rothlehner and Jakob Schäfer GmbH began in 2009. Over the years, seven truck-mounted and four trailer-mounted platforms have made their way from Lower Bavaria to Schäfer in Marienhafe, East Frisia. Since 2022, the company—which, in addition to renting access platforms, scaffolding, and tools, also operates a specialist retail store and an installation business for heating and sanitary systems—has been led by owner and managing director Bernhard Iken.

Most recently, Jakob Schäfer added another GSR truck-mounted platform in company colors to its rental fleet: a B220PXE Compact on an Isuzu chassis. The machine features automatic outrigger deployment, a working height of 21.5 m, and a maximum outreach of 11.2 m (at 120 kg). The unit has already proven itself in rental for some time thanks to its easy handling and the wide range of applications enabled by its basket control concept with no under-basket structure.

The B220PXE Compact—true to its name—is extremely compact and almost a meter shorter than, for example, the Mercedes-based version. It plays to these strengths especially on narrow inner-city streets. With the engine positioned further back, the B220PX on Isuzu can, compared to the Mercedes, make full use of its lateral outreach even over the cab.

By expanding its fleet, Jakob Schäfer GmbH continues to rely on high-quality solutions and strengthens its position as an aerial platform rental provider in the East Frisian region.

H.-P. Meyer Takes Delivery of Two B180T in Company Colors

H.-P. Meyer Arbeitsbühnen-Vermietung GmbH rents all common categories of access platforms in Bremen and across Lower Saxony, up to 25 m working height. The company has recently taken delivery of two new GSR B180T units, replacing two older truck-mounted platforms.

Founded as a painting contractor, H.-P. Meyer’s rental business grew out of its own operational needs. This close connection to the trades enables targeted, job-appropriate rentals. With its wide range of applications and easy operation, the B180T can be deployed flexibly for many types of work at height.

The B180T on a Mercedes Sprinter chassis features a compact 3-section telescopic boom with a working height of 17.7 m, a maximum lateral outreach of 12.7 m, and a maximum platform capacity of 300 kg. The COMFORT X system allows variable outrigger setup—single-sided, narrow, or wide. This is especially helpful in urban areas where space is tight. The delivery included the options for automatic outrigger leveling and a home function, as well as a warning beacon on the cab.

Boels purchases two dozen tracked aerial platforms from Easy Lift

Major rental company opts for Easy Lift again

Boels Group is one of the largest rental companies in Europe. The first Easy Lift tracked aerial platforms joined its fleet in 2008.
Recently, Boels expanded its fleet with 24 new machines, including eight RA24 and two RA31 units, as well as a total of 14 from the smaller R130, R160, and R190 series.

INetz Chemnitz expands its fleet with a new Europelift TM13G

Europelift TM13G heads to Chemnitz

INetz Chemnitz has acquired a new Europelift TM13G to broaden its operational capabilities. The company chose Chemnitz’s new landmark, the “Bunte Esse” (Colorful Chimney), as the handover location—marking a significant step toward enhancing its service offerings.

The Bunte Esse, a newly redesigned industrial monument, stands for Chemnitz’s structural transformation. At a height of 302 m—colloquially called the “Lulatsch”—it is considered probably the tallest artwork in the world. Its 18,000 m² exterior was designed by French artist Daniel Buren and consists of seven colored sections ranging from aquamarine to traffic yellow. At night, 168 LED lights make the chimney shine far beyond the city limits, symbolizing Chemnitz’s creative and dynamic development.

The Europelift TM13G is a trailer-mounted aerial work platform, ideal for work at height and distinguished by its flexibility and user-friendliness. With a working height of 13 m, a maximum outreach of 6.1 m, and a maximum platform load of 220 kg, it is specifically designed for the demands of urban environments. As special equipment, INetz Chemnitz opted for a hydraulic maneuvering drive and a petrol engine.

For all height-related tasks involved in the maintenance, installation, and repair of gas, drinking water, electricity, and district heating and cooling systems, INetz Chemnitz will rely on our machine going forward.

EasyLift RA31 goes to the North Sea

The Wilkens company from the Stade district in Lower Saxony offers professional solutions for tree trimming. Services include felling and cutting of all kinds, repairing storm damage, or tree planting. The team around owner Christoph Borchers is available to private and public clients.

Turntable ladders and aerial work platforms are used for high-altitude work in tree trimming.

Most recently, an older crawler work platform was replaced, and after a thorough test drive, the choice fell on an EasyLift RA31 from Rothlehner.

The performance data and operation of the machine were convincing: 89cm minimum clearance width, 300kg maximum basket load, with a weight of just 4,200kg. Likewise the high overlap point of the joint, the lateral reach of 14.50m (at 120kg) and the hybrid drive consisting of Kubota diesel and 230V mains drive.

The RA31 can be lowered variably and can work down to 7 meters in the negative range, which is worthwhile in rough terrain. The support is variable, and radio remote control and an electro-hydraulic emergency lowering are also standard. With a basket boom and rotating basket, the chain platform is suitable for a wide range of applications, both indoors and outdoors.

As additional equipment, the supplied machine has the options “Automatic support & home function”.

Salamon & Scherr Dachbau GmbH from Saaz near Feldbach in southeastern Styria has been celebrating success since it opened in March 2009. Founded by Stefan Salamon and Gerhard Scherr, the company now employs around 20 highly qualified employees. Thanks to their dedicated team and high customer satisfaction, the company has been able to develop an excellent reputation. Their quality work was awarded the renowned „Steirisch mit Qualität“ seal.

The company premises include 700 m² of workshop space, an office, social rooms and sufficient storage space. The key to success is the excellently trained employees who use their craftsmanship to ensure the highest quality every day. In order to make this work even more efficient and safe, the machinery was expanded to include a Europelift TM18GTi trailer work platform. The articulated telescopic platform offers a working height of 18 m with a lateral reach of 10.5 m. Work platform rental company Cramer receives two EasyLift R180

The rental company Cramer from Westphalia recently took delivery of two EasyLift R180 crawler work platforms from Rothlehner.  The company looks back on over 60 years of history and continues to be run by the family in the second generation. More than 1,600 rental devices are now looked after by 120 employees at the main location in Hagen and Hamburg, making Cramer one of the leading rental companies of work platforms, under-bridge equipment, telescopic and forklift trucks in Germany.

The easy-to-use EasyLift R180 crawler platform ultimately convinced the team around managing director Jan Schumacher.  With a working height of 17.60m, a maximum lateral reach of 8.50m (at 120kg), and a maximum basket load of 200kg, the R180 is the ideal device for a variety of rental applications.

The Wenzel company has purchased a new GSR B220TJ on a Mercedes-Benz carrier vehicle in order to efficiently support its diverse tasks in the maintenance and redesign of real estate. The truck work platform is used in particular for the comprehensive renovation and conversion of a former discotheque with an integrated brewery. This old building is currently being carefully converted into a modern bouldering and indoor event location.

In addition to the renovation of the discotheque building, the work platform is also used for the installation and maintenance of sun protection systems. The company offers comprehensive solutions in the areas of awnings, sun sails, roller shutters, external blinds, patio roofs, sun protection for winter gardens, internal sun protection, insect protection, control systems and aluminum shutters. The new work platform supports the Wenzel company in carrying out these tasks precisely and efficiently.

The GSR B220TJ offers a working height of approximately 22.00 m and a basket load of 250 kg, with a lateral reach of approximately 14.00 m with a load of 80 kg. The total weight of the platform is only 3,500 kg and can be driven with a class B driving license. The stage has compact dimensions for use in a wide range of environments. A clearance width of approx. 2.19 m, a clearance height of approx. 2.98 m and a total length of approx. 7.73 m.

VTS Hamburg Verkehrstechnik GmbH & Co. KG is a Hamburg company that specializes in traffic and safety technology. The services include, among other things, the planning, installation and maintenance of traffic control systems, traffic lights, parking guidance systems, surveillance technology and other technologies related to traffic safety. Since its founding, the company has worked for a wide variety of customers and does not limit itself to specific customer groups.

Ponsold Dach GmbH in Austria is a company that specializes in hall construction, flat roofs, facade construction and plumbing. For its current major order, the company decided to purchase a Haulotte HT23RTJ Pro. This self-propelled work platform is the tenth Haulotte machine in the Ponsold Dach GmbH fleet, all of which were purchased from Rothlehner in the last five years. Like all previous machines, this one was delivered directly to the construction site, where it was immediately put into operation after comprehensive instruction.

The Haulotte HT 23 RTJ Pro offers a working height of 22.50 meters, a lateral reach of 18.30 meters and a basket load of 230 kilograms. Equipped with a powerful diesel engine and all-wheel drive, it can handle gradients of up to 40% and is ideal for tough outdoor use on construction sites. Your high work efficiency is achieved through the proportional and simultaneous control of various functions. The boom has a movable jib arm with 133° and a rotatable jib with 175° to optimally approach a wide variety of situations.
